Traditional Tours
The tour is approximately 45 minutes and your Chauffeur will show you a number of sites such as:
- Bishop’s Palace
- Walton Canonry
- Medieval Hall
- Salisbury Museum (the King’s House)
- A view of Salisbury Cathedral from a unique perspective
- A first-hand experience of the flora and fauna of the River Avon
Pricing
- Halcyon: £50 for the first two guests, each extra adult is a further £15 up to a maximum of 9 people.
- Spirit of Salisbury and Lutrinae: £50 for the first two adults, each extra adult is a further £15 up to a maximum of 6 people
- Children (under 16): £7.50
- Family tour ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children): £60
- A bottle of bubbles: £25 per bottle
- Vouchers are available at the same prices, please enquire via email
Wedding and Event Tours
If you are celebrating your wedding or hosting an event at the Rose and Crown Hotel or Riverside Hotel, treat your guests to short chauffeured trips on the river, with trips tailored to the needs of your event.
We offer wedding and event bookings with the boat of your choice (Spirit of Salisbury, Lutrinae, Halcyon or any combination of), with prices depending on the boat, or boats, you choose.
- Spirit of Salisbury and Lutrinae: from £150 an hour
- Halcyon: from £225 an hour
We can decorate our boats at extra cost, as well as running our boats to suit your desires, drop us a call or email and we can work on a package to suit your event.

Tours are typically available from May to September, depending on river conditions. Out of season, you can still buy a voucher or make an advance booking by emailing us.

Why not treat someone to a punting experience? We offer vouchers for parties of all sizes: a unique gift for a special occasion. Please email us to purchase a voucher. If you have a voucher that appears to be expired, do get in contact as we will respect vouchers not yet claimed.
